Butter. Sugar. A pinch of salt. That’s all it takes to turn plain carrots into something that disappears fast off the dinner table. These butter glazed carrots are my go-to when I need a veggie side that looks a little fancy but takes no brain power.

  • 1 lb carrots (peeled + sliced)
  • ¾ cup water
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Fresh black pepper to taste
  • How to Make:
  • Add everything to a saucepan.
  • Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer covered for 10–12 mins.
  • Uncover and cook 5 more mins ‘til it’s glossy and glazed.
  • Finish with fresh cracked pepper and serve warm!
