We love a good pizza night over here—and y’all, it does not have to be complicated. Whether you grab a premade dough from Trader Joe’s or whip up your own (recipe below!), this is a dinner everyone gets excited for. 🙌

  • 2 cups pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 1 cup tomatoes (optional for caprese pizza)
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil (optional for caprese pizza)
  • balsamic drizzle (optional)

directions

  1. 1 Prepare the pizza dough using a bread machine, mixer, or by hand.
  2. 2 Roll out the dough thinly and place it on a piece of parchment paper.
  3. 3 Brush the dough with olive oil.
  4. 4 Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the dough.
  5. 5 Add fresh mozzarella on top of the seasoned dough.
  6. 6 For caprese pizza, add sliced tomatoes and fresh basil.
  7. 7 Preheat the pizza stone in the grill to 600-700 degrees Fahrenheit.
  8. 8 Place the pizza on the preheated pizza stone.
  9. 9 Turn the grill temperature down to medium (400-500 degrees Fahrenheit).
  10. 10 Cook the pizza for 4-5 minutes, monitoring the bottom to prevent burning.
  11. 11 If the bottom gets too toasty, turn off the burner under the pizza stone.
