Triple B Rice Krispie Treats and once you know what the three B’s stand for you will never make a regular Rice Krispie treat again!

ingredients

  • 1 1/8 cups butter (2 1/4 sticks)
  • 18 cups mini marshmallows(30 oz.)
  • 15 cups Rice Krispie cereal (18 oz.)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons flaky sea salt, plus more for topping
  • 11 oz. (1 bag) butterscotch chips

directions

  1. 1 Heat a large saucepan over medium heat and add butter. Stir occasionally until butter foams, sizzles, and turns golden brown with a nutty aroma.
  2. 2 Add marshmallows, turn off heat, and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. 3 In a very large bowl, combine cereal, salt, and butterscotch chips.
  4. 4 Pour marshmallow mixture over cereal and fold together with a wooden spoon until evenly coated.
  5. 5 Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Press mixture into an even layer.
  6. 6 Sprinkle with additional flaky salt. Cool completely before cutting.
